Kohinoor Electroplating Works

Kohinoor Electroplating is located at Unit 6 in Vishwakarma Niwas 1, over in Jogeshwari East. It is a workshop where we do metal finishing and plating work. The place smells like chemicals and metal most of the time, which is normal for this kind of business. We have different tanks and machines for the plating process. It isn't a clean or quiet job, but it’s what we do. We handle small parts and bigger pieces depending on what the customer brings in. Being in Jogeshwari East means we are surrounded by other small workshops and businesses. We have been in this unit for quite a while now. Our days are filled with dipping parts and checking the finish to make sure it’s okay. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a job with our gloves on. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait, or a machine needs fixing, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Mumbai, just a regular one where people can get their metal items plated properly. It’s hard work and the heat from the processes can be tough in the summer. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders as they come in. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming to us for years. It is noisy and busy, but that's a workshop.
