If you are ever down near Hajiali on Bhulabhai Desai Road, you might pass by our building. Kmsv Impex Private Limited is located on the first floor of the Shivtirth building at plot 4/6. It is an old part of Mumbai with a lot of history and a lot of noise. The building has that classic feel to it, and our office fits right in. We deal with impex, which basically means we are always worried about shipping containers and port clearances. The traffic around Cumballa Hill can be a real nightmare, so we try to get into the office early before it gets too bad. We have a few desks squeezed into the room and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don't have any fancy mission statements or things like that. We just want to make sure the goods get from point A to point B without too much trouble. Sometimes we have to stay late because of the time difference with people we are buying from. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during those long stretches. It is a simple life of trading and paperwork. We have been in this spot for a while and we know the neighbors well. It is just a regular Mumbai business doing its thing every day.
