Kks Camera Jib Cranes is based over in Andheri East, specifically at Plot No.E-40 in Koteshwar Nagar. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you aren't familiar with Jiva Mahale Marg or Sahar Road, but we’re close enough to Garware Chowk that most people manage to find us. We spend most of our time dealing with heavy gear—jibs, cranes, and all the stuff that goes into filming. Our workshop isn't a showroom. It’s dusty, there are tools everywhere, and someone is usually welding or bolting something together in the back. We started this because we liked the mechanical side of the camera business. It’s hard work, moving this equipment around, and it isn't always glamorous like people think the film industry is. We just make sure the gear is solid and works when it’s supposed to. Sometimes we stay late because a project is rushing, and other times it's just quiet maintenance work. Being in Andheri means we are right in the thick of things, which helps. We don't have a PR team or a big marketing budget. Most of our work comes from people knowing where we are and what we do. We’ve been at E-40 for a while, and the neighborhood knows us. It’s just a regular bunch of guys working with metal and cameras, trying to make a living without any fancy titles.
