Kidzography

Kidzography is tucked away on the 7th floor of the New Green Lawn building, right across from Hotel Mahim Palace. It is a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up, but the view from the windows is decent. We spend most of our time here trying to get children to sit still for a few seconds. It is a lot of work and can get pretty loud when the little ones start running around the studio. The space is filled with backdrops, some toys to keep the kids occupied, and a lot of camera gear that we try to keep out of reach of tiny hands. We are not a big corporate studio with a bunch of rules. We just take photos and try to capture how the kids actually look when they are being themselves. It is often messy, with props getting knocked over and parents trying to help out behind the scenes. We ended up at 702 New Green Lawn because it is a central spot that people seem to find easily enough. We do not use any fancy marketing talk about our vision or anything. We just like taking pictures and we happen to be okay at it. Every day is different because you never know if a kid is going to be happy or grumpy when they walk in. We just take it as it comes and do our best with the camera. It is a fun place to be most of the time.
