You can find Kids Toys And Novelties up on the first floor of the Suryamani Centre. We are located at 65/67 Sutar Chawl, which is a really busy part of the market area. There are boxes of toys stacked up to the ceiling in almost every corner of our space. It can be a bit of a maze trying to walk through the aisles, especially when a new shipment has just arrived from the manufacturers. We carry all sorts of small items and novelties that kids like. It’s a noisy, crowded area, but that’s just the nature of Sutar Chawl. We don't have a fancy showroom or a lot of space for people to lounge around. Most of our day is spent counting inventory, packing up orders for other shops, and dealing with the constant flow of people in the building. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy cartons and making sure everything is priced right before it goes out. We aren't a big chain store with matching uniforms or anything. We’re just a small team trying to keep up with the latest toy trends. Sometimes the power goes out or the stairs get blocked with deliveries, but we just keep going. It’s a hectic way to work, but seeing all the different types of toys that come through makes it interesting for us. We just handle the stock and keep moving every single day.
