Kheraj Electrical Industries (P) Ltd has been around for quite a while now. We deal with electrical stuff, mostly sirens and hooters, which means it can get a bit loud during testing. The workspace is a bit cramped with all the components and finished goods stacked up. It’s not a modern showroom; it’s a place where things are actually built. We have a small group of people who know exactly what goes where. Sometimes we have to hunt for a specific tool or a part, but we usually find it eventually. Mazgaon has its own character, and being in Old Anjirwadi feels like being part of the local history. We don’t spend money on fancy brochures. If someone wants to know what we make, they can come by and see it for themselves. We spend our mornings checking orders and our afternoons packing boxes. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living.
