Khandelwal Laboratories is located over at 79/87 D, Lad Path, in the Kalachowki area. It’s an older part of the city, and the building reflects that. We’ve been here long enough that the place feels like a second home to most of the staff. It’s a laboratory setup, so things are a bit different than a regular office. We have to be a lot more careful about cleanliness and how things are organized. There’s a lot of specialized equipment around, and it takes up most of the room. We don't really have a fancy waiting area for visitors because we’re usually too busy working in the back. The street outside can get quite congested, especially during the festival seasons, but inside, we try to keep things focused. We don’t go in for those corporate slogans or big posters. Our work is more about the details and making sure the lab results are right. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time looking through microscopes or checking data on the screens. It’s a quiet kind of busy. Sometimes the power flickers and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, but that’s just life in this part of town. We’re just a group of people doing our jobs in a lab that’s been part of the neighborhood for years. It's not flashy, but it's where we do our work.
