Keshavlak Dalpatbha Zaveri & Sons

We’ve been here at 245 Mumbadavi Road for quite a long time now. People usually know us as Keshavlak Dalpatbha Zaveri & Sons. Zaveri Bazar is a busy place, and our shop is right in the middle of all that noise and activity. It’s a family thing, passed down through the years. My father and his father worked these same counters before me. We mostly deal with the locals and people who wander in from the street looking for something specific. It isn’t fancy here. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re used to how things are. We spend most of our days talking to customers and sorting through stock. Sometimes it gets crowded in the shop, especially on festival days when the whole road is packed with people. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. If you walk down Mumbadavi Road, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s just us and the jewelry, same as it’s always been. We keep the books by hand mostly. It’s a lot of work, but we like the routine of it. We open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the first person to walk through the door. It’s a simple life here in the bazar, but it’s what we know. Nothing too complicated, just a family business trying to get through the day.
