K.E.M.Hospital, Parel

K.E.M. Hospital here in Ulhasnagar is situated right on Kansai Road, just across from A Block No. 386. It’s a busy spot in District Thane. Subhash Tekdi is usually full of people and traffic, so there’s always something going on outside. Inside, we just try to keep things organized. It’s a medical environment, so it gets loud with patients and families coming through the doors all day. We aren't the main Parel branch, but we handle a lot of the local crowd from this side of town. The building is older and has its quirks, like the way the hallways echo or how the breeze comes off the road. We have a lot of regular staff who have been here for years. They know the locals by name. It’s not a fancy private clinic with marble floors. It’s a practical place where people come when they aren't feeling well. We see everything from small scrapes to people who need to stay for a few days. The Kansai Road area is quite packed, so parking is always a bit of a mess near the entrance. We just do what we can to help whoever walks in. It’s a lot of work and long shifts, but it’s what we do. The humidity in Thane can be rough in the afternoons, but the fans keep going. We just stay focused on the patients who are waiting in the lobby for their turn.
