Kemco Medical Technologies is at Shop No.100 on Princess Street. If you know Mumbai, you know that Princess Street is a very famous spot for all sorts of things. Our shop isn’t the biggest one on the block, but it’s number 100, so it’s right in the thick of the action. The street is always crowded with shoppers and laborers and cars honking. It’s a very noisy and energetic place to work. We spend a lot of our day on our feet or at the small counter. The walls are lined with shelves that are packed with all sorts of things we need. It’s a bit cramped inside, honestly, but we’ve learned how to move around each other without bumping into things. We don't have a corporate office with a view; we have a shop front on one of the busiest streets in the city. Some days the heat is quite something, but we have a small AC unit that tries its best. We talk to people from all over who wander into the shop. Being at Shop No.100 means we've seen a lot of changes on Princess Street over the years. We’ve stayed here because this is where the business happens. It’s a no-frills kind of place. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and close up at night. It’s a simple life in a very busy neighborhood. That's just how it is for us.
