K.D. Maniar & Company

You can find K.D. Maniar & Company over at Shop No. 73/2A in the Bhoibabad area. We’re really close to the Cotton Exchange on Bhuleshwar Road. It’s a very busy part of town, always crowded with people moving goods back and forth on the street. Our shop has been in this spot for a long time. It’s a bit of an old building, but it has character. We don't really bother with fancy decorations or anything like that. The shelves are mostly full of what we need for the day. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we’re always cleaning things. It’s just me and a couple of others working here most days. We know the neighbors well since we’ve all been on Bhuleshwar Road forever. We don't really have a big sales pitch. People come to us because they know where we are and they know we’ve been here for years. It gets really hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast. Working near the Cotton Exchange means there’s always something happening outside. Trucks unloading, people shouting, and the usual city noise. We’re used to it. We just focus on getting the orders right and keeping the books straight. K.D. Maniar & Company isn't a huge operation, but we stay busy enough. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep everything moving. It is enough for us.
