Kaybee Construction & Eng. Pvt.Ltd. is situated in the Shikhar Co-operative Housing Society, which is part of Star Colony. To find us, you have to go behind the Giridhar Bungalow on Manpada Rosd in Dombivali East. It is a bit of a mouthful to explain to people who are visiting for the first time, but once you find the bungalow, it is pretty easy. Being in a housing society means it feels more like a home than a stiff office building. We have a few rooms converted into workspace where we handle the engineering and construction side of things. Dombivali is a crowded place, and the commute on the local trains can be really tough, so we appreciate having a base that feels a bit more grounded. The office is a bit cramped with all the drawing boards and computer monitors, but it works for us. There is always the sound of the neighborhood in the background—kids playing or people talking in the hallways of Shikhar society. We don't have a big reception desk; usually, someone just pokes their head out of a room when the doorbell rings. It is a very informal and local way of doing things. We are just a group of people working on engineering projects and trying to make things work in this busy part of the town.
