Kaushal Enterprises

We’ve been here at A-4 in the Nandbhuvan Industrial Premises for a good while now. If you know Andheri(East), you know how Mahakali Caves Road gets during the rush hour. It’s a lot of noise and people moving fast, but inside our unit, it’s just the usual day-to-day work for Kaushal Enterprises. The building has that old industrial smell, a mix of concrete and whatever the neighbors are working on. Sometimes the lift acts up, so we take the stairs. It’s just how it is in this part of town. We see the same faces every morning at the tea stall around the corner. We don’t really do anything fancy here, just get the work done and head home when the sun starts to go down. The office has a few old desks and a lot of papers that probably need filing, but we know where everything is. It’s not a showroom or anything like that. It’s just our place of work where we’ve spent many years. You can hear the traffic from the main road if the windows are open, but we’re used to it. Most of the people around here are doing the same thing, just running their small businesses and trying to keep things moving. We like being in Andheri because everything is close by, even if the roads are always jammed. It feels like the heart of the city’s work life.
