Our place is on the third floor of Parekh Market. It is room 321, so you have to walk up the stairs or wait for the lift, which can be a bit slow during the busy lunch hour. Kariox Impex Private Limited is right there on Jss Road, and if you know the Kennedy Bridge area, you know how crowded this part of town gets. It is always noisy outside with the horns and people shouting, but once you get up to the third floor, it gets a little quieter. The market building is an older one, so it has that specific smell of old concrete and stacks of paper. We have got our desks pushed against the walls to make more space in the middle of the room. It is not a huge office, but it fits our small team just right. Plot-39 is easy to spot from the street because of the big gates at the entrance. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and talking on the phone with suppliers. Sometimes the windows get a bit dusty from all the traffic below, but we do not mind much. It is just how it is in this part of the city. We have been at this address for a bit now and we know the tea stall guy downstairs pretty well. He brings up some cutting chai when we are having a long afternoon. It is a very grounded way to work.
