Kapil

My shop is right here in Thakur Complex, Kandivali East. It is Shop No 31, in the A/4 wing. If you are at the Thakur Sankul bus stop, just look across the street and you will see us. We are pretty close to the IDBI Bank branch too. I have been running this place called Kapil for a good bit now. It is a small spot in Saraf Chaudhary Nagar. Usually, I am here from morning until the evening. The area is always humming with people getting off the bus or going to the bank. It is not a huge operation, just me and some help. We handle a variety of things depending on what folks in the neighborhood need that day. Sometimes it is quiet, and I just sit and watch the traffic go by. Other times, it gets packed and there is barely room to move behind the counter. I try to keep the shelves stocked but sometimes things run out faster than I expect. It is a neighborhood shop, plain and simple. No fancy decorations or big signs. Just the name Kapil on the front. I have lived around Mumbai long enough to know how things work here. People stop by for a chat as much as they do for shopping. I like that part of it. It feels like being part of the community. We do not have a website or anything, just the physical shop where we show up every day.
