Kantilal B. Desai & Son

Kantilal B. Desai & Son is a family-run sort of place located at No. 2 on the ground floor on Saraswati Road. We are in the Santacruz West area, which is a pretty nice part of town, though it gets very crowded during the rush hours. Our shop has been around for a long time, passed down through the family, and we still do things in a very traditional way. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easy for our older customers to stop by and say hello. We deal in various goods and have a little bit of everything in our inventory. The atmosphere here is quite relaxed compared to the big modern stores. We still use paper ledgers for a lot of things and we like to talk to our customers about their families while we are weighing out orders or looking for items in the back. It is the kind of business where you know your neighbors and they know you. Saraswati Road is a good place to be, and we feel like a real part of the Santacruz West community. We don't have a website that we update or any big advertising boards. Most of our business comes from people who have been shopping with us for decades. We just keep the doors open, keep the shelves stocked, and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door.
