Kannan Global Trading Co.

Our office is in room C 704 of the Sai Complex in Dahisar West. We are located in the Kandharpada area, which is a mix of homes and small businesses. It’s a bit of a hike from the station, but the rickshaws know the way to Sai Complex easily enough. At Kannan Global Trading Co., we aren’t doing anything glamorous. Most of our time is spent on the computer or the phone, tracking shipments and talking to suppliers. The office is one of those converted apartments, so it feels a bit like a home. We have a small balcony where we keep some plants and take our breaks. It’s mostly just files, laptops, and a printer that jams way too often. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who handle the logistics and the trading paperwork. The neighborhood is quiet during the day, which helps us stay focused on the numbers. Sometimes the building lift stops working, and walking up to the seventh floor is a real workout. We’ve got a couple of cupboards full of samples of whatever we are trading at the moment. It’s a simple setup without any corporate pretense. We just want to get the goods from point A to point B without any drama. The focus is on the day-to-day tasks and making sure the clients are satisfied with the delivery times. It’s a steady, modest business in a nice part of Dahisar.
