Opal Power Tools

Opal Power Tools is based out of Shop No. 2 in Ganeshpara. We are just a short walk from the Savli Hotel, which is where everyone usually goes to eat. The shop is full of machines and the sound of testing things. You’ll often hear a drill or a saw being turned on for a second to make sure it’s running right. It’s a noisy place, but that’s normal for what we do. We spend a lot of time cleaning grease off our hands or putting tools back on the display racks. Ganeshpara is a busy little area, and there’s always people coming through. We’ve got a small counter where we handle all the transactions and talk to the folks who come in. Sometimes it’s a contractor and sometimes it’s just someone trying to fix something at home. We don’t really have a lot of space for sitting around. The shop is packed with boxes from the floor to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes if we get a big shipment in on a Tuesday. We mostly just keep our heads down and get through the work. The hotel nearby is a good landmark because everyone knows the Savli. We’ve been here for a while and the routine is the same every day. Open the locks, turn on the lights, and start checking the tools. It’s basic, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening every single day. We just make sure the equipment is ready to go.
