S. K. M. Industries

S. K. M. Industries is up on the second floor of the Mahalaxmi Building. If you know Kandivali West, we're right above that Kohinoor Showroom on S. V. Road. It's a loud area with all the traffic and horns, but inside it's just us getting through the daily list of things to do. We've been in this spot for quite some time now. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more than we’d like. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with suits and big presentations. It's more about manual work and keeping the machines or the paperwork in order. The view from our window is just the busy street and the shops below. Most of our guys have been here for years and they know the routine by heart. We get our supplies, we do what's needed for the day, and then we go home. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. Being on S. V. Road is handy because everything we need is pretty close by. We don't have a fancy lobby or any of those modern decorations. Just a desk, some chairs, and the equipment we use every day. It works for us. People know where to find us if they need anything. We try to stay organized but things naturally get messy when we're busy. That’s just how it goes here. We don't try to make it more complicated than it is.
