Rahul Bardanwala is over in Ekta Nagar, specifically Gala 576. We are on the Marve Link Road. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite the Mhada buildings in Kandiwali West. We deal in bardan, which is basically gunny bags and sacks. Because of that, the whole place is very dusty. You’ll see sacks piled up to the ceiling in some parts of the gala. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. The traffic on Marve Link Road is always a headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. Our shop is quite old and the shutters are a bit rusty, so they make a loud noise when we open up in the morning. I usually sit on a small wooden stool near the entrance. We don't have air conditioning or anything fancy. Just a big pedestal fan that moves the dust around. It’s a family business, named after my son. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed in the same spot. We don't have a computer here; everything is written in the ledger books. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. If the weather is nice, we sit outside for a bit. We don't promise anything special, we just sell the bags people need and talk to the regulars.
