Handmades

We are located in Charkop, over in Sector 7 of Kandivali West. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren’t from around here. There are a lot of small units and residential buildings mixed together. Handmades has a small space that we’ve made our own. It’s not a corporate office at all. It feels more like a workshop. We have benches and tools scattered around. The light in the afternoon is actually quite nice through the side window. We’ve got some shelves where we keep everything organized, though it gets messy when we’re in the middle of a project. Sector 7 is a fairly busy area. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood—kids playing, people calling out, the occasional scooter zipping by. We like it here because it feels real. It’s not tucked away in some sterile business park. We know the neighbors, and we see the same people at the local shops. Sometimes we leave the door open to get a bit of a breeze, even if it brings in some of the street noise. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving things around, but we don’t really care about that. We just focus on what we’re creating at Handmades. It’s a humble spot in Kandivali, but it’s perfect for what we need. We just come in, do our work, and enjoy the local vibe of Charkop. It's home for us and it works well.
