Our office is located at 11, Shankar Nivas, which is right in the middle of Prabhat Colony in Santacruz East. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy this area gets, especially being so close to the station and the highway. We handle management stuff from here. It’s a regular building, nothing too modern, but it works for what we need. The office has that old Mumbai feel where space is tight and everyone is always moving. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or working through files at our desks. There’s a lot of noise from the street outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't trying to be some high-rise corporate firm with a lobby and a receptionist in a suit. It’s more of a place where you walk in, see people working, and get your business sorted. Most of the staff takes the train in, so we’re always keeping an eye on the clock for the evening rush. It’s a 400 055 zip code life, which means dealing with the humidity and the monsoon rain leaks every now and then. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall. We just show up, do the management work that’s required of us, and head home. It’s a practical office for practical people who just want to get through their daily to-do list without any unnecessary corporate drama or polished presentations.
