Kanchan K

You can find Kanchan K at Shop No 7 along the Link Road. It is a pretty busy stretch of road that connects Goregaon and Malad West, so there is never a quiet moment outside. We are right across from the Toyota showroom, which is actually the easiest way to tell people how to find us. If you see the cars behind the big glass windows over there, you know you are in the right place. The shop itself is small, but it’s what we have. We spend a lot of time just organizing the shelves and dealing with the dust that comes in from the main road. Link Road is always under some kind of construction or just full of traffic, so getting here can be a bit of a chore depending on the time of day. We have people coming in from Nalasopara and other areas further out because the bus stop isn't too far away. The floor tiles are a bit worn out from years of people walking in and out, but we haven't found the time to replace them yet. It’s a simple shop, nothing fancy at all. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see who the day brings in. It’s a lot of work keeping a small business going in such a busy area, but we like being right in the middle of everything. It's just how things are for us here, day after day, regardless of the weather.
