We’ve been tucked away in Pragati Chawl over in Jogeshwari East for a good while now. Our office sits right by the J.V. Link Road, so the sound of traffic is pretty much the background music to our daily work. It’s a busy spot, and honestly, it gets a bit crowded in here when the whole team is in. We spend most of our mornings going through heaps of paperwork and property files. It’s not the most exciting part of the job, but it has to be done to keep the projects moving. People from the Durganagar neighborhood often stop by just to ask what we’re up to or to inquire about a plot. We don't have a fancy lobby with a receptionist, just a few desks and a lot of cabinets filled with blueprints. Sometimes we take our breaks at the small tea stall nearby because it’s good to get some air. Handling real estate in Mumbai is always a bit of a juggle with all the different rules and timelines. We just try to stay organized and get our tasks finished on time. The area has changed a lot since we first arrived, with new buildings popping up everywhere. We’ve seen it all from our window. It’s a simple setup we have here, focused on the day-to-day grind of construction and planning. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big show, we just do the work.
