Kamdhenu Engineering Company

Kamdhenu Engineering Company is over at H-40 in the MIDC Ambad area. It’s a busy industrial spot, so there is always something going on around here. We’ve been set up in this unit for a good bit of time. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of oil is pretty much part of the furniture now. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we get the jobs finished. We do engineering work, mostly the heavy stuff that requires a bit of muscle and the right tools. People drop by with all kinds of requests. Some days it’s quiet and we’re just doing maintenance, other days it’s a total madhouse with everyone trying to meet a deadline. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. You just come in through the main door and find someone who isn't wearing earmuffs. Most of the guys here have been working with metal since they were teenagers. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. We just keep our heads down and work. It's a living, and we take it one day at a time. If you’re looking for us, look for the big blue door near the corner. It's usually open if the weather is decent and the guys are already working hard.
