If you are looking for Vopasha Inc., you have to head down to Lohar Chawl. Our office is at No. 10 Pathak Wadi, right next to the Diamond Building. It is a very crowded area near Princess Street, so there is always a lot of shouting and horns honking outside our windows. We are in Peerbhoy Building No. 2. It is an old building with a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you are not used to them. We spend our days here handling all the paperwork and talking to people who come by. It is a small space, but we make it work. There are files everywhere and the desks are usually covered in notes. Being near Princess Street means there is never a dull moment. We see all sorts of people passing through the lane. Sometimes we step out for tea at the corner stall just to get away from the phones for a minute. The office is simple. We have a couple of fans that stay on all day because it gets stuffy in these old buildings. We do not have any big signs or flashy lights. Just a small board at the entrance so people know they are in the right place. It is just a regular office where we do our business every day. Most of the neighbors know us by now.
