We are based in the Botawala Building on Kalbadevi Road. Our office is Room No. 10 on the third floor, at No. 27/31. If you know Kalbadevi, you know it’s one of the busiest, most crowded parts of the city. Getting up to the third floor can be a bit of a workout since the building is quite old and the hallways are narrow. Eltech Enterprises has been operating from this small space for a good amount of time. It’s packed with boxes and papers and various bits of electrical gear. It isn't a fancy corporate headquarters by any stretch. We are just a few people working at desks, answering the phone, and getting orders ready. The noise from Hanuman Lane outside is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything polished. Most of our work comes through people we’ve known for years. We just try to be practical and get things done without making a big fuss. It’s an honest living in a very busy part of town. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic downstairs, but we do what we can to keep things moving. We like being in the middle of all the action in Kalbadevi. It feels like we are right in the thick of things. It’s just how we operate every day and it suits us fine.
