Kalakruti Architects Planners

We’re over in Goregaon East, specifically at 13 J R Bldg on Aarey Road, right across from Prit. Kalakruti Architects Planners is the name on the door, but inside it’s just a bunch of us working on various project files. The traffic on Aarey Road is always a bit much, but you get used to the noise after a while. We do a mix of things, from basic floor plans to some bigger planning work. It involves a lot of site visits, which means we spend a good chunk of time stuck in traffic or walking around dusty plots of land. We don't have a fancy office with leather chairs. It’s more about big tables where we can spread out the blueprints. Sometimes we disagree on how a layout should look, but we eventually figure it out. It's a job that requires a lot of patience. You draw something, the client changes their mind, and then you draw it again. That’s just the way it goes in this business. We try to be practical about the costs too, because we know building isn't cheap. We’re just local folks who know how to put a building together on paper. It’s steady work, and we stay pretty busy with the local projects around this part of Goregaon. It’s not always pretty, especially when things go wrong on-site, but we deal with it and keep moving forward. That’s just the daily life here in the office, surrounded by stacks of paper and blueprints.
