Our office is located at 103, Amey Society, in Ashok Nagar. We are over in Datar Colony, which is part of Bhandup East in Mumbai. If you know Mumbai, you know how packed and energetic it is. Bhandup has its own rhythm, and we are right in the thick of it. The office is part of a society, so it feels like being in a community. It’s not a shiny corporate tower in South Mumbai; it’s a real place where people live and work side by side. We have been running Kajiva Construction from here for a long time. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many files and documents from over the years, but we know where everything is. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long—the kids playing, the vendors calling out, and the traffic from the main roads. It’s a noisy, lively place, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We aren't into fancy presentations or polished talk. We just do our work and handle the day-to-day tasks that come our way. The building has that typical Mumbai look, and we’ve become very familiar with every crack in the stairs. It’s just our little corner of the city where we try to keep things moving forward without any unnecessary drama or flashiness. Most of us have worked here so long that the walk from the station feels like second nature.
