Kahan Packaging

Kahan Packaging is tucked away in the Shreyas Cinema Compound, right off L.B.S Marg in Ghatkopar. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a business like ours, but we’ve been here for a while. The traffic on LBS Marg is always a mess, so we hear the horns all day long. Being near the cinema means there’s always people around, which makes for a lively atmosphere. Our space is filled with stacks of boxes and packaging materials. It’s a bit cramped, honestly, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time measuring and cutting things to size. It’s a hands-on job. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything. Most of our talking happens standing up on the shop floor. We just get the orders and figure out the best way to pack them. Sometimes the deliveries are a bit tricky because of the narrow access near the cinema, but the drivers know us by now. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy front. We just focus on getting the packaging right so it doesn't break. It’s a local business and we know a lot of the people who walk by every day. We don't use a lot of complicated technology, just some good cutters and tape and a lot of patience. If the weather is nice, we leave the doors open to get a bit of air. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day. We take our time to do it right for every customer.
