We’re based out of Tilak Nagar in Chembur. It’s in building 4 A, room 603. Mumbai 89 is a crowded place, but we like it. K T Yadav And Co has been here for years. It’s a small space, mostly filled with folders and old ledgers. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. It keeps us fit, I guess. We aren’t a huge firm with a glass building. It’s more of a family feel here. We know the people in the next unit. Most of the work is just keeping track of details. It’s not glamorous. We sit by the window when it rains during the monsoon. That’s when the city slows down a bit. We try to be helpful when people ask questions. There’s no script we follow. We just talk like normal people. If we’re busy, you might have to wait a minute. We appreciate the patience. Chembur is a good spot for us, close to everything we need. We've seen kids grow up in this building and start their own work. It makes the place feel like more than just an office. We have an old kettle that takes forever to boil, but the tea is worth it. That’s how we start every morning before we dive into the papers and numbers on our desks. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours and we are proud of the work we handle for everyone.
