K. Raheja Universal Pvt. Ltd is based in Hasan Chawl, which is part of Janta Colony C Ward. We are located in Prem Nagar, over in Jogeshwari East, Mumbai 400 060. It’s a busy neighborhood where everyone lives close together. Our office is right in the middle of all that activity. We aren't tucked away in some corporate park; we are right here where the people are. The space we have is simple and functional. We don't have any fancy art on the walls or expensive carpets. It’s mostly just desks and shelves full of files. We focus on getting our work done every day. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the sounds of the colony, but that’s just life in Mumbai. We know our neighbors and we see the same faces every morning when we open up. It’s a very human way to run a company. We don't use any complicated business talk. If there’s a problem, we just sit down and figure out how to solve it. Our day starts early and usually ends when the street lights come on. We handle all the administrative tasks and the general running of the business from this spot. It’s a modest setup, but it’s ours and it works for what we need. We don't feel the need to be flashy. We just want to do our jobs and be part of the community here in Prem Nagar.
