K. M. M. Industries

Nagdevi Street is always crowded with people and carts, and K. M. M. Industries has been part of that noise for a long time. Our place is at 207-209, right in the middle of all the hardware shops and wholesalers. It’s the kind of street where you really have to watch your step because of all the wooden crates and people moving around quickly. We handle various industrial supplies and whatever else comes through the door. The shop isn't very big, so things tend to pile up near the entrance until we have time to move them. Sometimes we can't find a specific part right away and have to dig through the back shelves for twenty minutes. It’s just how we operate here, and it works for us. We’ve got a small crew, mostly guys who have been with us for years. They know where every little thing is kept, even if the place looks like a total mess to someone visiting for the first time. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries or talk to people who drop in to ask questions. There is no air conditioning, just a few old ceiling fans that squeak when they turn. We don't really do much advertising or marketing. People usually find us because they were already walking down the street or a friend told them we might have what they need. It’s loud and dusty on Nagdevi Street, but we’re used to it. We keep the doors open from morning until late evening, just like everyone else.
