K K Maternity & General Hospital

Working at Raghukul Building on S V Road keeps us all on our toes. We are right in Dahisar, and the Central Bank of India is just across the road from us. Being a maternity and general hospital means there is always something happening at all hours. New babies, people coming in with fevers, or just regular check-ups. The building has been here for years. It has that old Mumbai feel to it. Sometimes it gets really loud outside because S V Road is always packed with cars and rickshaws. Inside, we try to keep things as calm as we can. The nurses move quickly between the rooms. We have different floors for different things. It’s a lot of stairs if you don’t want to wait for the lift. We see families waiting in the lobby area all the time. Sometimes it's happy, sometimes it’s just people looking tired from waiting. We have a small desk for registration where the paperwork piles up. We go through a lot of pens and paper every week. It’s just a busy local hospital serving the Dahisar crowd. Nothing too fancy about the place. We just keep the lights on and make sure the doctors are where they need to be. It’s a lot of long shifts and quick lunches in the break room. That's just the life of this place. We stay busy until the night shift takes over.
