K G N Auto Works

K G N Auto Works is located on Bapat Marg, right in the Muniswamappa Layouty area near Old Madras Road. It is a busy garage where there is always some car or bike taken apart. The smell of engine oil and old grease is everywhere, and our hands are usually stained black by noon. We have a couple of jacks and some basic tools that have seen better days but still get the job done. The layout here is a bit tricky with all the spare parts stacked up in the back. Working on Bapat Marg means we see a lot of traffic passing by, and people often stop because they heard a strange noise in their engine. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because this is a place for hard work. It gets quite hot under the tin roof during the summer months, so we keep a few fans going. The floor is concrete and has some oil spills that won't ever come out. We deal with all sorts of mechanical problems, mostly just fixing what is broken and getting people back on the road. Old Madras Road is a main link, so we stay busy from morning till night. We just like fixing things and seeing the machines run smoothly again. It's dusty and noisy, but it’s our daily routine. We've been at this spot for quite some time now.
