K. Chandrakant & Company

K. Chandrakant & Company is based at 307, Mehta Bhavan on Charni Road. It’s an older building, and we’ve been in this spot for quite some time now. Charni Road is always packed with people and cars, so it’s never really quiet outside. Our office inside Mehta Bhavan is a bit cramped because we have so many files and ledgers from over the years. We try to keep it organized, but sometimes the stacks just keep growing. It’s a very traditional workspace. We have old wooden desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they still work fine for us. Most of our day is spent handling paperwork and talking to clients who have been coming to us for years. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know how everything works. The building has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit steep and the paint is peeling in a few places. We like being in this part of the city because everything is close by. Sometimes we go out for a quick walk to clear our heads when the office feels too full of paper. We don't have any modern gadgets or sleek furniture. It’s just a plain, honest place where we come to do our jobs every day until it’s time to go home.
