K. C. Diamonds

K. C. Diamonds is situated in Hermes House, which is at 33/35 M.P. Marg in the Opera House area. If you know anything about the diamond trade in this city, you know that Opera House is the main hub for everyone. We are in unit B/3. Our office is like many others in this building—practical, a bit crowded with desks, and always busy. We don't have marble floors or expensive art on the walls because we spend our time looking at stones, not at the decor. Every day, people are coming and going through the hallways of Hermes House, and it can get quite hectic during peak hours. We deal with diamonds in a very traditional way, focusing on the grading and the trading side of things. There is a lot of trust involved in this business, so we mostly work with people we have known for a long time. Our desks are usually covered with loupes, scales, and small packets of diamonds. We don't put out shiny brochures or have a fancy website with big promises. We just sit here on M.P. Marg and do the work that needs to be done. The traffic outside on the street is always loud, but inside we are usually focused on the stones under the lamps. It is a very specific kind of life, working in the diamond district, and we have been part of it for many years now without much change in how we operate or do things day to day.
