K B Pandya Company is based in Goregaon East. We are in the Arihan building, on the second floor, Office No C. If you’re coming from the station, it’s a bit of a walk, especially in the afternoon sun. Our office is a functional space. We’ve got desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that seem to multiply on their own. We don't have a lot of wall decorations or expensive carpets. It’s a place meant for working, not for showing off. The team here is small but we've been together for a long time. We know how each other likes their tea and who is likely to be late on a Monday morning. It’s a very human atmosphere. We handle our business with a lot of direct talk. If there's a problem, we just sit down and figure it out. No need for those long, boring presentations. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the tops of some trees, but it’s fine. Sometimes the building gets a bit noisy with other offices doing renovations, but we just turn up the radio a bit. We are just a group of people doing our jobs in this part of Mumbai. It’s a steady routine and we like it that way. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do our work properly.
