Down in Santacruz East, things are always moving fast. We are located in the Silver Thread building, right on Dattamandir Road. It is a typical Mumbai setup where space is tight and everyone is in a hurry. We do a lot of work with plastics here. The shop floor can get a bit noisy with the machinery running, but that’s just how it goes. C202 is our unit. It’s a practical space. We don’t have a big reception area or fancy chairs for visitors. Usually, there are samples of plastic parts sitting on the tables and a bit of dust from the production. We start early to beat the worst of the Mumbai heat and traffic. Dattamandir Road has a lot going on, so there’s always something to see out the window if you take a break. Most of the guys have been with us for a while, so we don't need to say much to know what needs doing. We handle the orders as they come in. It’s honest work. Sometimes things go wrong with a machine, and we spend the afternoon fixing it ourselves. That’s just part of the deal. Being in the 400055 area code keeps us close to the heart of the city's trade. It’s a gritty, hardworking environment without any of the corporate polish you see in the magazines. We just focus on the plastic.
