We have been here at 30 Amrapali Indl Estate for quite a few years now. It’s a busy spot right on Ram Mandir Road in Goregaon West. Most days start with opening up the shutters early while the tea stall nearby is just getting going. The traffic on this road can get pretty bad around noon, so we usually try to get our deliveries sorted out before that happens. It is not a fancy place, just a regular workshop where we handle electrical stuff. There is always a bit of dust because of all the work going on in the estate, but we keep things moving. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working together for a long time. You will see us sitting around the main table checking orders or just making sure the machines are running like they should. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that is just how things are around here. We know the neighbors well, and people mostly just drop by when they need something specific. It is a practical setup. Nothing is very polished or modern looking, but we have everything we need to get the jobs done. My desk is usually covered in papers and small parts. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. It is about the work and making sure we stay busy through the week. Goregaon has changed a lot, but this corner feels pretty much the same as it always has.
