Our office is located at 336 Laxmi Plaza, which is inside the Laxmi Industrial Estate on New Link Road in Andheri West. This area is a real mix of old workshops and newer offices. Jupiter Infomedia is tucked away in one of those buildings that always seems to be under some kind of maintenance. We spend our days staring at screens and handling a lot of data. It’s a bit of a maze getting to our floor, but once you’re here, it’s just a standard workspace with rows of computers. We don't have bean bags or a cafeteria. We usually just eat at our desks or go down to the local stalls for a quick bite. The air conditioning is essential because the Mumbai heat doesn't play around, especially in an industrial estate like this. We have a lot of files to keep track of, and the sound of typing fills the room from morning till night. Most of us take the train to get here, so the talk in the morning is usually about the commute or the weather. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just a dedicated crew doing our part in the information business. The walls are a plain off-white, and the carpet is a bit worn, but it’s a good place to work where everyone knows their job and does it.
