We are based in the Delphi A Wing, up on the second floor in Hiranandani Business Park. If you’ve ever been to Powai, you know it has a very specific look with all those tall buildings and the neat streets. Our office, 203/204, is where we handle the India operations for Jungheinrich. We deal mostly with lift trucks and forklifts, which is pretty heavy-duty stuff for an office in such a polished area. It’s kind of funny thinking about big yellow machines while sitting in a business park, but that’s the job. The Central Avenue area is always busy with people grabbing lunch or walking to other offices. We have a small team here that manages the sales and the service side of things. It gets a bit noisy sometimes with the traffic outside, but inside we just focus on getting the orders out and making sure the technicians know where they are going. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just the usual desks and a few models of the trucks we sell. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We’ve been in this spot for a few years and have gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It’s a solid location for us, even if the rent in Powai is a bit high. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day without much fuss. It is a good enough place for what we do.
