We are Jumbo Elevator Co. Private Limited. Our office is on the sixth floor of Galaxy Heights in Goregaon West. You can find us right above the ICICI Bank on Link Road. It’s a busy spot. Most days are spent talking about cables, motors, and buttons. Elevators are one of those things nobody thinks about until they stop working. Then everyone is in a hurry. We’ve been at this for a while now. The building is always humming with people going in and out of the bank downstairs. Sometimes the traffic on Link Road makes getting to sites a bit of a headache, but that is just part of living in Mumbai. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a workspace with a few desks and a lot of technical manuals. Our team stays busy with maintenance calls and checking on installations around the city. It is honest work. Sometimes the monsoon makes things tricky with the moisture getting into the sensors, so we stay extra busy during those months. We just try to keep things moving so people don't have to take the stairs. It is funny how much you learn about a building just by looking at its lift shaft. We keep a pot of tea going in the afternoons and just get through the pile of paperwork on the desks. That's pretty much who we are and what we do here.
