The place where Jtcpl Designs operates from is Sadguru Darshan, at number 1050. The address lists both Prabhadevi and Chandigarh Sector 56, which sounds like a lot of ground to cover. We mainly just stick to our space inside the building for all the design stuff we do. It’s not one of those sleek studios you see in magazines. It’s a working office with bits of paper, samples, and drawings scattered over the tables. We spend a lot of time debating different ideas and trying to make things fit for the people we work with. The chairs are a bit worn out, but they are comfortable enough for a long day at the desk. Outside, the area has its own pace. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times there is a lot of movement around the building entrance. We don’t have a big team, so it’s usually just a few of us here. We make our own tea and mostly keep to ourselves while we work. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it because there is always some other task that is more important. It’s the kind of place where you can actually focus without too many distractions. We’ve been working out of here for a while and it feels like a second home now. People know where to find us. It’s just a regular, everyday office where we get the work finished.
