Our place, Jsk Medicare Pvt Ltd, is tucked away at 125/129 Sitaram Poddar Road. It’s right near the Fanas Silwar Market and not too far from Svp Road. If you know the market area, you know how busy it gets. There are people everywhere, carts moving goods, and the smell of the market. Our office is in the middle of all that hustle. We deal with medical supplies and healthcare products, so we have boxes coming in and out quite often. The space inside is a bit tight because we have to store a lot of stock, but we’ve learned how to organize it so we can find things. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby and the general city grime, but we clean up every morning. It’s a family-sort of feel here, even though we’re a private limited company. We know the neighbors and the guys who run the stalls outside. Sometimes we have to shout over the noise from the street, but you get used to it after a week. Most of our work involves talking to suppliers and making sure the local clinics get what they need. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just a door, a few desks, and some heavy shelves. It’s a real working-class area and we fit right in. We just focus on getting the Medicare supplies out to the people who are waiting for them and checking our lists.
