We run Jshopping.in from the 7th floor of Prathamesh Aashish, which is room 703. It is located on 1 Beverly Park Road, right in the heart of Kanakia Mira Road. Being on the 7th floor gives us a bit of a view of the neighborhood, though we are usually too busy looking at screens to notice. We handle all the online orders from here, which means there are always stacks of shipping labels and packing tape rolls sitting around. Mira Road is a busy part of town and getting deliveries in and out can be a bit of a headache during rush hour, but we’ve got a routine down now. We started this because we wanted to see if we could sell things directly to people online without all the middleman stuff. It’s just a few of us here. We spend the morning answering emails and the afternoon packing up whatever people bought the day before. The office isn't very big, so we have to be careful about where we stack the boxes so no one trips. We don't have a showroom or anything like that, just a workspace where we get the job done. Beverly Park Road has a lot of energy, and we like being part of that community even if we are tucked away upstairs. It's a lot of repetitive work, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We just take things one day at a time.
