Jotun is located at 129 Shree Jee Industrial Estate on Subhash Road. It’s an older building, and you can tell it’s seen a lot of activity over the years. We are one of many units in this estate, so there’s always people moving around and the sound of neighbor businesses doing their thing. Our space is pretty crammed with stock most of the time. We try to keep it neat, but with so many cans and palettes, it’s a bit of a challenge. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the manifests. Subhash Road can be a bit of a nightmare for parking, so we usually tell people to come early. Our team is small, just a handful of us who know the routine inside out. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that on the walls. It’s just a place of work. We come in, we do the inventory, we handle the logistics, and we go home. Sometimes we share a bit of snacks in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. The floor is concrete and has some stains from old spills, but that’s just part of being in the industrial estate. It feels like a real community here. We wouldn't change it much. It works for us.
