Johnson Matthey Taloja

This location for Johnson Matthey Taloja is a bit different than what you might expect. We are situated at Room No. 1552(A) in Mane Chawl, which is in the Phulenagr area of Mohone. It’s part of the Kalyan taluka in the Thane district. The area is very industrial and the chawl is where a lot of the local life happens. It’s not a fancy corporate park. We have our workspace here and it’s where the daily grind takes place. The air is often heavy with the smell of the nearby factories, and it gets quite hot during the summer months. We deal with various tasks throughout the day, mostly coordinating things or handling the local logistics for the company. There’s always a lot of noise from the street, people talking, and bikes zooming past. The room itself is basic, just enough space for the desks and some storage. We’ve got a small fan that works overtime to keep us cool. People in the chawl know us well since we are here every day. It’s a working-class neighborhood and we fit right in. We don't have any big signs out front. You just have to know which door to knock on. It’s a long way from the city center, but this is where the work gets done and we are used to the pace of Mohone. We just focus on the job and get through the day.
