Johnlee Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. is situated in a very busy part of Mumbai. We are at Shop No. 14 on the second floor of the Om Shanti Om Co-Op. Housing Society. The address is 42/44, Babu Genu Road, just off Kalbadevi Road. If you have ever been to Kalbadevi, you know the streets are narrow and always packed with people and carts. Our building is one of those old Mumbai structures where the stairs are a bit steep and the hallways are narrow. Inside the shop, it is actually quite organized despite the chaos outside. We have our shelves stocked with samples and our desks pushed together. It is a small team, so we all know what everyone else is doing. There is always the sound of traffic and shouting from the street below, which you just learn to ignore after a while. We handle a lot of distribution and pharmaceutical trading from this little spot. The paperwork can be a bit overwhelming, especially when the monsoon hits and everything feels a bit damp. We have a small window that looks out over the rooftops of the neighboring buildings. It is not a corporate headquarters with a glass facade, but it is our home base. We work hard, drink plenty of tea, and try to make sure every order that leaves our shop is correct. It is a gritty, honest way to work in the heart of the city.
