Running Jnsj Homes Private Limited from the 16th floor here at New Shanti Nagar on Nepeansea Road keeps us pretty busy most days. If you know Mumbai, you know how Laxmibai Jagmohandas Marg gets during rush hour, so we usually just hunker down in the office and get through the paperwork. It is not a huge fancy setup, just a practical space where we handle all the housing stuff. We have been at 167 for a while now, and the elevator can be a bit slow in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work. Most of the time it is just us figuring out the next steps for different projects and making sure the files are in order. The view from up here is alright, but mostly we are looking at our desks and the phone. It is a bit of a trek up to the 16th floor, but it is home for the business. We do not really do big meetings or anything, just local work for local people. Sometimes the wind gets a bit loud against the windows during the monsoon, but we just keep the door shut and carry on. It is a straightforward operation we have got going here in 400006. We try to stay organized, though some days the folders pile up faster than we can sort them. It is just the reality of doing business in a city that never really stops moving, and we are just happy to be part of the neighborhood.
